  All versions of ADS install by default into separate folders, for ADS 2011.01 through ADS 2014.01 this is a folder in C:Agilent. All shortcuts created for the Start Menu are organized by version too. So it is possible to run all versions of ADS concurrently on the same machine provided licenses for that version are available.

The only suggestion though is that when going through the installation process when requested to "Set Your Home Directory" create and manage a separate home directory for each version of ADS. So create folders like C:Users\ADS2011 or C:Users\ADS2012 to set as the home directory for each ADS version. This keeps all your personal configuration data for each version separate and unique.

ADS 2011 is already out-of-date. ADS 2014.01 has recently been released and available for download to register users. It would be far better to use that version of ADS now.

This is unexpected. As sdgrant wrote, you can install different ADS versions to different directories, with no problems.

Is the shortcut that you click on the *desktop* or in the *Start menu* ? Can you start ADS from the Windows start menu? Is the file where the shortcut points really missing, or is this a problem with file permissions? The minimum you need are "read and execute" file permissions.

  You should not install ADS under "C:Program Files". ADS 2011.10 will not work if there is a space in the path as would be in that case. This may be possible in future versions of ADS but not ADS 2011.XX.

Only the licensing modules are installed under C:Program Files.

The easiest solution would be to uninstall any version of ADS 2011.10 you have presently, do not worry about ADS 2009 as that is separate, and then install ADS in the default path unde C:Agilent.

Sir,
       I never installed ADS2011 in the C:Program Files. I installed ADS2011_10 in the C:Agilent only. What is my problem is, once installation is over, in the C:Program Files , the Agilent File is not all appearing for copying the license. Earlier I installed the ADS2011_10 in the C:Agilent ,once installation is over it is showing automatically Agilent folder for copying license file in the C:Program Files
        My difficulty is , how to get make appear Agilent Folder in the C:Program Files after installation is over.
