We at Digi-Key strive to provide you with the greatest website for research, development and the inevitable purchase of electronic components. Keeping with this motif Digi-Key has started to develop Product Selectors for our customers to quickly find the components they require for their design. Currently there are a handful of Product Selectors live on digikey.com, including: Development Tools, Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Automation, Sensors, Connectors, Resistors, Capacitors and Lighting.

The Product Selectors open up a new way of exploring the Digi-Key website. Using the Development Tools Product Selector as an example, customers have access to each available category of development tools Digi-Key currently carries. Additionally, we provide links to Embedded Computers, MCU/MPU Modules, Maker/DIY and RF Transceiver Module product. On top of that, links to the Sensors and IoT Product Selectors are included.
One of the more exciting aspects of this Product Selector is two sections created specifically for the Development Tools side of product: Platform Specific Microcontroller Boards and Single Board Computers. Within the Platform Specific Microcontroller Boards section are links to popular platforms like Arduino, Atmel Xplained, and Cypress Pioneer. Under the Single Board Computers section are links to the always popular Raspberry Pi and BeagleBone, as well as SBCs broken down by processor type from ARM to Intel to boards without a processor in order to fit your preference.
