Furthermore, please share with us in which BIOS version that you used the issue is not present. Also, let us know what USB devices you have connected to the NUC.

I tried getting into BIOS recovery with the 7CJYH and it was impossible.

• Neither the Powerbutton Menu appeared (like other NUCs where it's working as expected 7i3BNK / 5i3RYK ) pressing in all possible combinations the power button (instead after a while screen shows "BIOS detected unsuccessful boot attempts"),
  
• nor the removal of the BIOS security jumper gave me the chance to try to "recover" to BIOS 0044 (no screen).
  

It is symptomatic for this model  -  only troubles so far.
You got one bug more on your list now: Powerbutton Menu not appering / recovery mode not possible (instead after a while screen shows "BIOS detected unsuccessful boot attempts")
 
Received the NUC(s) from factory with BIOS 0031 on it and first thing I did was update to 0044.
Have a second 7CJYH here and it's same behaviour, WLAN in UEFI disabled, WLAN active in Windows.
Nothing else is connected to the NUC other than HDMI and keyboard/mouse

Thank you for the information.

The WLAN behavior that you are having is an expected behavior, once it is disabled you will see it on the device manager, however, you should not be able to use it on the on the tray icons on the taskbar (not able to set it on Windows.  

Have you tried removing all hardware and input devices and test only 1 stick of RAM, wired mouse and monitor, and test BIOS Recovery? If not could you try it?  If this fails, I would recommend contacting customer support (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html#@6 got to the upper right corner to select your region) for warranty options, you will need to have the unit markings on hand (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005804/mini-pcs.html).
