The cable uses TTL voltage levels, and does not have DTR/DSR. At the moment, I have pin 4 (PS DTR) open, pin 6 (PS DSR) tied to Vcc, and flow control off, in order to try to get around the handshake. I downloaded the IO libraries and the Connection Expert doesn't seem to be recognizing it. I have USB-GPIB cables, but would prefer to use RS232 for this application. Thanks |
